Something Sacred

You are meant to be cherished, not possessed. What possibly has been taught is love is proven by how tightly one holds on. Real love does not suffocate. It nurtures. It sees your wings and it still chooses to walk beside you.

Love is not about control. It’s about showing up even when fear of abandonment whispers lies into your heart.

Commitment is what teaches that love does not have to hurt to be real. And maybe for the first time commitment is someone loving you without needing to fix you.

Love is truly enough. With love comes everything. Love is the greatest corrector.

Know that commitment is without needing to shrink. Commitment is without needing to perform. How does one know if it is just a relationship, or something sacred?

When fear shows up do we protect each other or do we protect ourselves? Healing love makes room for your sadness, makes room for your silence, makes room for your story.

And when another chooses to sit beside your pain and not try to erase it, that’s not possession, that’s presence, that’s healing.

That’s love finally doing what it was always meant to do…

Make you feel safe enough to stay.

In Love and Light,

Steve
