Silent Support
In the lowest moments of our life experience, solutions, advice, rescuing… we need not.
What we desire is simple human connection, a quiet supportive presence, a gentle touch.
Small gestures, such as these, hold us steady as we maneuver life’s storms.
Try not to fix nor take on my pain, or chase away my darkness.
Sit beside me as I weather my inner storms and lend a steady hand I can hold when finding my way.
I carry my pain. I face my struggles…
Yet, you being there reminds me I am not alone in a world full of uncertainty.
You being there gives me a knowing that I am worthy of love when feeling broken.
And if I lose my way in those lowest moments, will you be there?
Not to find a solution, but just to be quietly there holding my hand reminding me of my strength.
Your silent love and support is such a gracious and loving gift.
It is the gift that helps me know who I am, even when I forget.
In Love and Light,
Steve
