That Monumental Consequintial Moment

You know that moment when you feel achingly seen and loved?

Like a skeleton with its bones white and exposed,

Or like the smooth, but scarred pebble harvested by the hand of a seeker,

From the deep coldness of a mountain pool at the bottom of a raging waterfall.

That sliver of time shared with another,

Both with aligned senses and emotions… raw and unfathomably united,

Knowing that millions of others on earth have experienced such exquisite instances as well.

While simoultaniously fully recognizing the experience’s fleeting nature,

Feeling grief from an apprehension of lose,

And the utter lack of uniqueness in the encounter.

Just for that monumental consequintial moment,

You are profoundly understood.

And your essence can,

Without a doubt,

Never be unseen or invisible in the world,

Ever again,

Endlessly abiding and significant.

In Love and Light,

Steve
